US-based university offers scholarship worth $1,00,000 to international students applying for UG courses

Augustana University in Sioux Falls, South Dakota has announced scholarships of up to $25,000 per year for undergraduate programs beginning in fall 2022 in a wide range of programs offered at the university. The scholarships worth up to USD 100,000 over four years enable Indian students and young professionals to pursue undergraduate studies in the fields of Business, Computer Science, Phycology, Mathematics, Accounting , etc The last date to apply is June 1.

Depending on the university, applicants must have an SAT score in English of 500 or an IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent, and a GPA of 6.0. they must also submit an essay to be considered for the minimum scholarship of USD 15,000. The scholarship could be up to USD 25,000, with an IELTS score of 7.0 and an average score of at least 75% in classes 10 and 12.

Augustana University offers several undergraduate programs, including computer science and software engineering, data science, many areas of business, and hard sciences, among other aspects of learning. Coupled with a liberal arts approach, the university ensures students have excellent critical thinking, communication and interpersonal skills to go along with their technical skills, she says.

Elaborating on the number of international students already admitted for Spring 2022, Iverson said, “For Spring 2022, approximately 150 international students from 50 countries will attend Augustana. Of these, approximately 5% will be Indians.
