Manager, Production & Franchise Development at NBCUniversal, LLC

Summary of the role:
The Director of Franchise Management will be instrumental in managing, maximizing and coordinating the activities of all Universal Monsters properties business units during the film window, as well as maintaining brand equity and value. needs on an ongoing basis.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with various divisions and departments focusing on the overall franchise strategy of Universal’s Monster properties, including but not limited to Technology, Consumer Products, Gaming, Digital Marketing and Parks theme.
    • This includes reviewing materials to ensure adherence to the creative direction of the narrative across the Universal Monster brand and suggesting new directions and fixes where necessary and providing support for products in other areas of development. ‘activity.
  • Participate in creative meetings involving the franchise strategy team, executives and key creative leadership teams across all areas of the business.
  • Support the development of ancillary projects as needed across Universal’s film brands (ex: DreamWorks Animation TV project: Baby Monsters)
  • Responsible for reading/revising material and directing several projects in development on all platforms: film, animation, publishing, games, parks
  • Work with legal and licensing teams on approvals and permissions with regards to Universal Monster activations
  • Manage the delivery of assets from our Archives and Collections team to various external partners with respect to specific monster projects
  • Work with executives to create and develop new ideas: Cover film, publishing, news, internet and other media to generate film ideas and continuously contribute to the development process.
