Help me save my first apartment

Hello to anyone who might read my story. My name is Tai and I recently lost my job because a new company took over the building I was in and did not retain the current management team after the takeover. I was with the old company for six years before they were bought out. It’s been a struggle to say the least. The job market has really changed since I was looking for a career and although several people have looked at my resume after submitting it for various jobs, nothing has happened yet. I’m not used to not working and being able to make ends meet without asking my family for help. Thank goodness for wonderful parents, but I know the well can dry up quickly and I don’t want to be a burden on them. Before I was fired from my job, I was able to maintain everything on my own, so it’s very humbling to have to be in this position. I am usually the giver and not the receiver. I can say that the struggle is really real.

I try to keep my spirits up and not let depression or stress derail me, it’s a daily struggle. I know that once I have a breakthrough with a job, everything will be fine. At this moment, borrowing from Peter to pay Paul is not enough. I just need a little help so I can stay in my first apartment and not get into too much debt trying to sustain myself in this economy with no source of income. The money will be used to pay rent and other expenses that have accrued since I lost my job. If you find in your heart the strength to help me even if it is only a word of encouragement or a line of work, thank you, thank you, thank you and God bless you.
